Cedar Court Residence is a contemporary family home designed as a sequence of soft, grounded spaces shaped by natural light, warm timber, stone, and a restrained palette. The project rethinks modern living not as something stark or overly polished, but as something tactile, restorative, and deeply livable.
Developed for a family seeking clarity, stillness, and connection to everyday routines, the house balances clean architectural gestures with a sense of intimacy. Each room was designed to feel composed but never cold, minimal but never empty.

The house is organised around simplicity, but not austerity. Arc approached the project by stripping each space back to its essential function, then rebuilding it through material consistency, light control, and carefully resolved details.
A soft architectural language runs throughout the home: timber planes, pale walls, muted stone, dark metal accents, and moments of filtered greenery. The result is a residence that feels cohesive from room to room, while allowing each zone to hold its own mood.
Ceilings, joinery, lighting, and thresholds were all treated as active design elements rather than background decisions. This created a sense of quiet rhythm across the home.
