Overview
Palm Court Residence is a private home designed by Arc as a low-profile retreat within a dense tropical setting. Conceived as a sequence of quiet architectural moments rather than a single statement gesture, the project balances crisp modern forms with warmth, privacy, and a deep relationship to nature.
Set within a lush garden site, the residence was designed to feel both protected and open: sheltered from the outside, but constantly connected to light, air, greenery, and the slow rhythm of domestic life.

Set within a lush garden site, the residence was designed to feel both protected and open: sheltered from the outside, but constantly connected to light, air, greenery, and the slow rhythm of domestic life.

The design was developed as a collection of interconnected zones. A simple rectilinear architecture provides clarity and restraint, while openings, courtyards, and material accents introduce warmth and variation.

At the core of the project was the idea of living with nature, not beside it.
A series of framed views were used to make the landscape present throughout the home. Large openings pull the garden inward, while smaller, more controlled apertures create moments of pause and privacy. A central courtyard introduces light into the inner spaces, allowing the house to breathe from within.
This balance between openness and enclosure gives the residence its character: expansive where it needs to be, intimate where it matters most.

Palm Court Residence is a study in quiet residential architecture. It avoids spectacle in favour of atmosphere, using light, greenery, framing, and material contrast to create a home that feels grounded and restorative.
